A mother giraffe helps her child get safely through the storm and across the raging sea. This surreal animal print is a tribute to all brave mothers.

Three facts about these giraffes:

• This work is named after a line in the song ‘Sweet Goodbyes’ by the band Krezip
• Both giraffes live in the Zoo in Emmen
• The sea is Italian, the sky comes from Germany. The lightning and the rain were added later.
