Today, I brought my art to the Wadden island of Ameland for Art Month Ameland, an international cultural highlight in November. The organization has chosen a select group of artists from Scandinavia, Germany, and the Netherlands for this event.
Bringing my Artwork was like a very short holiday. My outward journey was a fairy tale. The tide was low, the fog cleared, and the sun came through. I couldn’t stop taking photos, it gave me so much inspiration. After I brought my work to the right place, the church of Hollum, I cruised the Island, looked at the sea, ate some fish and chips, and walked on the beach. On the way back, I’m sure the Wad was beautiful too. But I slept in my car on the car deck. I’ve been busy lately, which explains why :-)
